 It is our policy that every bitch meets the following requirements prior to breeding:

 

• AKC/UKC Registered 

• Xrayed and found cleared of Hip Dysplasia/Elbow (OFA, PENN HIP, SV)

• Tested and found NEGATIVE for Brucellosis also includes Bitches that are A.I.

(10 days before breeding)

This test must be done by a licensed Veterinarian within 10 days of breeding and proof, in writing with vet’s letter head is required.

• Current on all Vaccines (DHPP, RABIES) including Kennel Cough and De wormed

• Free of ticks, fleas, mites and lice

• Series (2 or more) Progesterone test is REQUIRED

• The right to refuse breeding to any Bitch that does not meet these requirements

 

Stud Service Fee:

Payment due in FULL upon arrival of Bitch

If no tie occurs, the stud fee will be returned. If a tie occurs, the STUD FEE will NOT be returned in whole or in part. If a tie occurs but the Bitch fails to become pregnant (  in whelp) the owner of the Bitch must notify STUD owner in writing NO LATER than 65 days after the date of the FIRST TIE. If the said Bitch is not pregnant must have statement from attending veterinarian of said BITCH on letterhead.

There will be 2 breedings, either natural, artificial or a combination of both. Should it be necessary to do artificial insemination, you will be notified of such before doing so as the cost is client responsibility. Beechwold  will do this should it become necessary and payment for service will be completed.

Stud owner is NOT responsible for transportation of Bitch to owner of from owner to Stud kennel.

A return service will be given the same STUD DOG ( if stud dog is still available) without charge, at the next heat (and ONLY the next heat). On return service, same requirements as initial breeding.

We do require progesterone test be performed by a veterinarian, prior to breeding, in order to help the owner to determine the optimum breeding time. Unless such notice is given, the right to a return service is FORFEITED. If the BITCH changes ownership, the right of a return service is Forfeited, Or said stud service can be carried over to other female for the return service from original owner, contingent on same requirements approved only by STUD OWNER. It is the responsibility of the Bitch owner to have her bitch checked for any breeding complications (stricture, fertility, etc) Stud owner will not be responsible to check said bitch at time of Breeding. If discovered after breeding said bitch has fertility complications, no fees will be returned …If no litter is conceived after the second breeding, the stud dog owner is under no obligation.

Definition of a litter: Purpose of this contact is minimum of 2 puppies born alive

 

 

 

Boarding Waiver:

The $         , Stud fee includes the cost of boarding the BITCH at the kennel during the initial period of stud service if the owner of the BITCH desires boarding for up to 3 nights. While the BITCH is on the premises of the kennel, the stud owner agrees to exercise reasonable and customary care. Stud owner will NOT be liable for any loss or damage to the bitch for disease, death, running away, theft, fire, injury from other dogs or persons or acts of god.

Food will be provided by BITCH owner.

$25 a day boarding fee will be added if BITCH is here longer than the 3 nights, and will be paid before pick up of bitch.

 

Chilled Extended or Frozen Semen:

If Bitch Owner elects to have fresh chilled or frozen semen shipped to the Bitch the entire cost (Including but not limited to Collection, collection kit and shipping is to be paid for by Bitches owner to the Veterinarian's office ONLY! ) is that of the Bitch Owner. This fee is in addition to the Stud Fee. Collection fee is to be paid to the veterinarian and Stud fee to be collect in FULL before Semen is collected. 1 breeding is equal to 1 stud fee, If you require more than 1 Breeding additional stud fee will be required.

If breeding does not take Bitch Owner is still responsible for the cost of the Chilled/Frozen semen expenses. Further, if semen was drawn and arrived in good shape and Bitch Owner does not wish to repeat the breeding the original deposit will serve as the fee for the original breeding plus any out of pocket expenses Stud Dog Owner has acquired, and this contract will be null and void. Should Bitch Owner choose to do a second breeding - the remainder of the Stud Dee is due up front.

Stud owner is not responsible for the collection once it leaves the Storage facility and or Vets office.

 

 By this Contract it is specifically agreed that the Stud Dog Owner is not obligated to sign the application for Litter Registration until, and unless, the Stud Fee and any other related financial arrangements have been paid in full.

I understand the above written Contract and agree to abide by all sections both typed and written. Both parties agree to all of the above agreements and terms.
